Conversations That Can Change the World . . .

. . . remembering our connection to the web of life

"Everything an Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the power of the world always works in a circles, and everything tries to be round. In the old days when we were a strong and happy people, all our power came to us from the sacred hood of the nation, and so long as the hoop was unbroken the people flourished.

~Black Elk, 1863-1950 Oglala Lakota

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.”
~Chief Seattle

this connection is our everything . . . hone it . . . develop your Spirit out in nature as it nurtures your soul . . .

(this does not have to look like organized religion - this is between YOU & the Great Almighty)

Magic I encountered in the forest in late summer in Monroe, Washington in 2012

This is a close up of the same picture above this one. This was a day of incredible magic in this forest when I captured this picture of this web. That white heart in the middle was actually a spider on her Web. This was such a magical day and such a magical offering to me by the Spirit World. I love spiders, they have so much to do with holding and weaving the energies on the Web of Life. I would NEVER kill a spider. Sometimes I relocate but most times I let them have their space and do their thing.
